What can I expect during my Microblading Hair Stroke appointment?

- You will come in and sign waivers and medical release forms, then have a consultation before you begin to discuss the desired brow shape you want to achieve and ask any and all questions. You will then receive topical numbing cream on treatment area. Your session will last anywhere from 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour.

Is microblading suitable for any complexion?

-Yes, this procedure can be done on any complexion. Darker skins are particularly good candidates for this procedure. We color match your natural brow hairs and complexion

Will I be swollen?

-You won't be swollen, you just might have slightly red skin around eyebrows, but this would last max. 30 minutes.

Do I get a say in how my brows are done?

-Of course. I wouldn’t dream of giving you a design you didn't want. This is a process in which the both of you work together to find what works for you—after all it is for you

Can I come in with my brows drawn on, as I like them?

-Yes, if they are exactly perfect and drawn just how you like them, your Microblading professional can create an outline, thoroughly cleanse your skin and get right to work. This can save you both a lot of time, especially if you draw in your brows with the color chosen at your consultation.

Can I resume normal activity, exercising, gardening etc.?

-Most normal activities can be resumed right away. Heavy exercise should be avoided for at least a week for best results—any sweat formed on your brows can fade your healing color. Swimming should be on hold for at least a week, pool chemicals would erode your healing color as well. Outdoors activities such as gardening or golf can be resumed as long as your treatment area remains clean, dry, and out of the sun. For best results do not expose your procedure to any unnecessary wear.

Are there safety issues with the Microblading procedure that I should be concerned with?

-Your semi-permanent makeup will appear darker and more intense than expected for the first few days. If you feel slightly panicked by the darkness- this is normal! The color will gradually lighten during the 7-10 day healing process. Redness and swelling is not expected after 24 hours, however for sensitive skin this may vary. Please view our detailed aftercare instructions

Maintenance

-As a general rule and as explained, the patient should expect to book a maintenance appointment every 4 (call for pricing) months.  With that said, some factors will affect fading more quickly for some versus others.  These factors include, but are not limited to the following:

Not taking proper care of procedure area after treatment.

Sunbathing or using sunbeds.

Using Retin A creams, or any other products that contain AHA’s, Glycolic or Vitamin A.

Certain skin treatments such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels.

Certain skin conditions and or excessively dry/oily skin types.

Specific medications which are known to cause increased fading.

Swimming in chlorinated pool

Excessive use of alcohol.

Smoking

How long does it last ?

-Your brows will fade over time and will need a full session every 1-2 year. Without a touch-up, the pigments will gradually fade away over the course of 3-5 years. Frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including: the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure), and if any chemical peels/acids/anti-aging and anti-acne products are used on the skin.

Why do I have to come back in 4-6weeks?

-About four (4) weeks after your original eyebrow tattoo appointment, you should schedule a “touch up” with your certified permanent cosmetic professional. Specialist fixes and fills in any areas needing minor correction or modification as well as longer lasting results if you adhere to your schedule touch up session after your initial microblading appointment. Any other changes prices may vary from $150 - $200  (after 8 weeks i can not do a touch up session )

After the touch-up when do i come back ?

-After your touch up you can come back in 8 months -1 year for a full session of microblading Call For Pricing.

Does this look different than my make up ?

Yes. For women who are used to wearing heavy brow makeup, it will appear much softer appearing than what they are used to seeing with makeup. Many times, a brow make-under is better than brow makeover!
